Seattle Chapter President Remark

President Jenny Kung
The establishment of Chamber of Commerce is the tendency toward economic development.
The organization and activity are expanding due to the demand of societies, the force
of the organization, information exchange, and the creation of business opportunities
which are necessary for a well-established chamber of commerce.
The Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Seattle (TCCS) has been founded for twenty years
since 1987. The TCCS has been committed to providing better service to all members,
displaying functions of the TCCS, promoting business friendship, and entering the main
society in order to encourage the business relationship between United State and Taiwan
and to achieve reciprocal prospect of diplomacy and economics. Although we could have
done better, the spirit of members has been solidified. This remarkable success is attributed
to mutual forgiveness and respect of all members.
The attribution of developing team spirit of TCCS successfully is to the lead of previous
chapter presidents and the cooperation of Board of Directors. Each of us proudly takes
the honor of the chamber as our own duty, puts individual prejudice aside, and completes
each work of chapter selflessly. Without a doubt, the TCCS is going to be united in the
future as we always are.
On behalf of the TCCS Board of Directors, I would like to appreciate the support and
encouragement from all members and send my sincere wishes to the members and the TCCS.
